2022 and Updates
Haven’t done one of these — ever! Usually I shove any and all life/career updates into the beginning or end of the piece I’m currently working on, but I am not currently working on any Medium pieces, so I wanted to do a brief update on what I’m doing right now, what I plan to do as the year unfolds, and where you can find me!
First, my video essay about transgender horror is out! Clocking in at 2 hours and 38 minutes, it is my first and so far only video essay I have ever done. It combines my two previous articles and includes many new films that I had never written about previously. It is perhaps the largest project I have ever done. I am insanely proud of it, and hope that if you have not already, that you will check it out.
Secondly, you may or may not have noticed that my Twitter has disappeared! Believe me when I say that 1) I know, and 2) I am working on it. My platform was not much, but I can’t lie and say I’m not quietly devastated at the idea of having to rebuild from the ground floor.
